RAJOURI MAY 14:-To assess the situation in the district following the ceasefire between India and Pakistan, Director General of Police (DGP) Jammu and Kashmir, Nalin Prabhat, along with IGP Jammu, arrived in Poonch late Wednesday evening. Upon his arrival, the DGP visited Raja Sukhdev Singh District Hospital in Poonch, where he met with the injured individuals who were admitted due to firing from the Pakistani side.
He inquired about their condition, listened to their concerns, and assured them of full security.
He emphasized that the police are committed to ensuring the safety of all citizens, whether they reside in villages near the Line of Control or in urban areas.
The DGP assured all possible assistance and appreciated the dedication and prompt response of the hospital staff in providing medical services.
