BUDHAL MARCH17:- Director General Command Area Development Jammu Sardar Rajinder Singh Tara visited remote block Budhal of Rajouri district. During his visit, Director General met farmers, PRI members and social activists of Budhal and heard their concerns. Addressing the farmers in the meeting, he said that the government is making every possible effort to increase the income of the farmers and all the problems of the farmers are being solved on a priority basis.

He said that the Department of Command Area Development is constructing distributary channels to easily deliver water supply to the farmers’ lands, which benefits the farmers. Director General assured the farmers that they will release more funds for the farmers of Budhal block so that all the distributary channels can be constructed. After the meeting, Director General also inspected the 1.2 Km distributary channels constructed at a cost of 25 lakhs in Kewal area of ​​Budhal and congratulated the officers of the department for completing the work within the stipulated time.

Prominent social Activist and Sarpanch Kewal Muhammad Farooq Inqlabi, Sarpanch Muhammad Shabbir Aflaton, Sarpanch Khalil Ur Rehman, Sarpanch Liaqat Ali, Parvez Malik, Farooq Baba also participated in the meeting and thanked the Director General Command Area for visiting Budhal. Farooq Inqlabi said that farmers of Budhal are happy and thankful to all the officers of the department for working on priority basis for Budhal block.
