Development in neglected border areas is LG Administration’s priority: Vibodh

RAJOURI, MAY 20:–Vibodh Gupta, BJP State General Secretary & former MLC said that Lt Governor Ad ministration is leaving no stone unturned as for as the sustainable and equitable development of border areas is concerned.
Vibodh Gupta was addressing a public rally in a remote border village Khankhari in Rajouri where he also kick-started construction work on an important Khankahari to Chamba Dala road in the presence of concerned officials/officers of PWD (R&B) and the local residents.
“LG administration has been making sincere and dedicated efforts in mitigating the miseries of the poor and marginalised communities in the border areas of Rajouri and Poonch districts,” said Vibodh Gupta.
On the other hand, Central Government under the matchless leadership of Prime Minister Modi also gives priority to the developmental works in the border areas in UT of J&K, he added.
Border dwellers of our country are real warriors and along with the Indian Army these people are ensuring the safety and security of the country, said Vibodh.
“Various road projects under execution in border areas in both the border districts of Rajouri & Poonch once completed would go a long way in the overall development of neglected border areas” said Vibodh.
Rajinder Gupta, district president BJP (Rajouri) informed that besides infrastructure development activities, the Central Government has launched various people’s welfare schemes, especially for the people of border areas.
He asked the people to get benefits from such schemes.
Abdul Hussain, Sarpanch Khankhari Halqa, thanked Vibodh Gupta and other senior BJP leaders for their visit to the area and for their regular support in ensuring that developmental projects are properly implemented in this border belt.
Inhabitants of the area also raised their various issues and highlighted their problems. Vibodh assured that he will raise these issues with concerned authorities for their early redressal.
