RAJOURI, AUGUST 30:-Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma today chaired a meeting in the Conference Hall of the DC Office Rajouri to review and finalize the arrangements for Eid Milad-un-Nabi in the district.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized ensuring uninterrupted electricity and water supply across Rajouri town and other areas on the auspicious occasion. He directed concerned departments to conduct cleanliness drives, lime-lining of roads, besides repair of street lights and installation of dustbins at identified locations.
He directed police to formulate a traffic diversion plan in consultation with the traffic authorities and publicize the same well in advance for the information and convenience of citizens.
The meeting was attended by SSP Rajouri, Gaurav Sikarwar, ADC, Chander Prakash; ACR, Mohd Jahangir Khan; DySP Headquarters, Satish Kumar; Executive Engineer PDD, Abdul Rasheed; Executive Engineer PHE, Sudesh Kumar; AD FCS&CA; EO Municipality; AD Fire & Emergency Services and other officers of line departments.
Representatives of civil society also participated and shared their suggestions to ensure hassle-free celebrations. The DC assured full cooperation from the administration and urged all stakeholders to work in close coordination to make the event successful.
