RAJOURI JULY 30:-Because of the ongoing inclement weather conditions in the district, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, IAS, has directed education department authorities not to use middle and primary school buildings that are dilapidated, unsafe, or structurally compromised.

Acting on the directive, the Chief Education Officer (CEO) Rajouri, through Circular No.

CEOR/P&S/2025-26/13241-42 issued on Wednesday, instructed all the Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs) to ensure that Heads of Institutions (HoIs) strictly implement the DC’s directions.
“Failing which, defaulters shall be held personally responsible for any circumstances or consequences,” the CEO’s circular stated.
Additionally, the CEO directed all ZEOs to submit consolidated details of such unsafe buildings—specifically the condition of middle and primary school structures—along with a list of flood-prone school buildings to his office via WhatsApp at 7006293413 by 2 PM on Wednesday.
The CEO emphasized the urgency of the matter and asked officials to submit separate details of dilapidated, unsafe, and flood-prone buildings in the prescribed Excel format (attached with the order), so that the Deputy Commissioner may be informed on time.
