RAJOURI DEC 18:-A delegation of Beopar Mandal Rajouri led by its president Rajesh Gupta,(Bittu Shah) met with Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, to highlight several pressing issues affecting the local business community and residents.
During the meeting, Rajesh Gupta expressed serious concerns about the following: Unscheduled Power Cuts: Frequent power outages are disrupting daily life and adversely impacting water supply in the city.Parking Challenges: The acute lack of parking spaces in the city has created chaos, particularly in busy market areas. Shopkeepers Licenses: Notices issued by the Municipal Council to shopkeepers regarding license registration have created confusion, with many questioning the clarity and process of the regulations.
Responding to these concerns, Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma assured the delegation that the administration is actively addressing these issues. He informed the delegation that he had already communicated with the Director Urban Local Bodies Jammu to expedite solutions, particularly concerning the power and water supply problems.
“The administration is committed to resolving these challenges promptly, ensuring the well-being of both shopkeepers and residents,” DC Sharma said.
The Beopar Mandal expressed hope for swift action and emphasized their readiness to co-operate with the authorities to improve civic amenities in Rajouri.
