DDC Rajouri discuss formulation of District Capex Budget plan 2023-24

RAJOURI, APRIL 27:–District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting of concerned officers to discuss and finalize modalities for formulating the District Capex Budget plan for the year 2023-24 & to ensure that the proposed projects are within the budgetary limits and feasible to execute.
The DDC, Vikas Kundal emphasized the importance of completing old works under the District Capex Budget in a timely manner & urged the officers to identify works and projects that benefit the maximum number of people and can be completed within the stipulated time frame, as per the guidelines of the Finance department.
He also directed the departments to keep only those works in the current year plan that can be completed in the next one or two years.
“This will ensure that the proposed projects are feasible and will have a positive impact on the ground” he added.
He stressed the need to formulate the plan within the already conveyed ceilings which, according to him, will ensure that the proposed projects are within the budgetary limits and are feasible to execute.
“The proposed projects will address the needs of the public and benefit them while utilizing budgetary provisions efficiently,” said the DDC and adding that the projects are feasible and will have a positive impact on the public.
The meeting was attended by the CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; SE Jal Shakti, Bharam Jyoti Sharma; ExEn Jal Shakti Rajouri, Ashwini Sharma; ExEn Jal Shakti Nowshera, Vipin Kumar; ExEn PWD (R&B) Rajouri, Maqbool Hussain, and other concerned officers.
