DDC hold Public hearing redressal Camp at Surankote under Block Diwas

District Development Commissioner Poonch,Rahul Yadav today hold a public rearing redressal camp in at block Surankote under the ongoing Block Diwas programmes.

The programme was attended by SDPO surankote, CEO Tourism Dr. Mohd. Tanveer, DSWO Shakeel Ahmed, CMO, ALC, Abid Hussain, Tehsildar Surankote Sheraz Ahmed Chowhan, BDO surankote Amir Chowdhary, District Mining Officer, Officers from bank, CAO, Executive agencies of different departments, besides all district and social officers were present.

During the meeting PRI members and locals raised various issues and demands of their areas including immediate augmentation of water and power supply, medicare facility, improvement in road condition, transformer and various issues were discussed.

The Deputy Commissioner after giving a patient hearing to the issues raised during the meeting said that district administration Poonch is committed to provide all the basic facilities at the doorsteps of the public and necessary steps are being taken to ensure the same.He assured them that all their genuine demands and issues will be redressed in a phased manner.

He said that the Government has launched various welfare schemes and programme for the people and asked the PRI members to generate awareness among the masses about the same so that they can avail themselves of these schemes and programme.
DDC directed the XEN PDD to install transformer at panchayat Bufliaz Lower A.
DDC gave patient hearing and resolved many issues on the spot . He also reviewed progress in providing the domicile certificates/income/ Category certificates/Labour Card etc.
