Doda,December 12:–91 polling parties were dispatched today from Sports Stadium Doda to designated polling stations to conduct polling for DDC constituency Ghat, Chiralla and vacant seats of Sarpanchs and Panchs tomorrow on 13th December.

A total of three candidates are in fray for Ghat DDC Constituency and four candidates are trying their luck at Chiralla District Development Council seats, which is going to the polls tomorrow- for the phase 6th of the ongoing eight phase DDC elections and Panchyat bye-polls.

The polling staff with poll material left amid tight security to aforementioned DDC constituencies under the overall supervision of District Panchayat Election Officer, Dr. Sagar D Doifode.

Adequate security personnel of Jammu and Kashmir Police and central paramilitary forces accompanied the polling parties.

As per the election authorities 58 Polling stations have been established for 25446 voters in DDC Constituency Ghat and 33 polling stations for 16189 voters in Chiralla DDC constituency.

Among others present along with DPEO Doda were ACD Doda, RO’s and ARO’s, BDOs of concerned blocks, Dy SP Headquarters, besides other officials.
