DC, SSP met inhabitants of terror-hit Dhangri.

RAJOURI, JANUARY 09:–If reports are to be believed, the authorities here at Rajouri have provided Self-Loading Rifle (SLR s) to ex-servicemen in terror-hit Dhangri village who will function as Village Defence Gourds under the new scheme of Ministry of Home Affairs, GoI namely Village Defence Guards Scheme (VDGS).
These ex-servicemen will also provide training to the members of VDCs (now VDGs).
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal accompanied by SSP, Mohammad Aslam; CO CRPF; Deputy SP JKP, Chanchal Dev; and SHO Rajouri, Mohd Fareed visited Dhangri village and interacted with the public there.
During the visit, the public and their representatives highlighted a number of issues and demands of their areas and sought immediate redressal of the same.

Vikas Kundal, IAS gave a patient hearing to the issues and demands and assured them that their genuine concerns would be redressed in a time-bound manner.
He also said that the “District Administration is committed to providing all the basic facilities to the general public at their doorsteps and the best possible steps are being taken in this regard” said Vikas Kundal.
