DC Rajouri visits residence of U-14 Gold Medalist Boxer Mohd Yasser; Announces sponsorship under Mission Vatsalya

RAJOURI, AUGUST 24:-Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma visited the residence of U-14 Gold Medalist Boxer, Mohd Yasser to personally congratulate his family for the young athlete’s remarkable achievement.

During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner interacted with Yasser’s mother and commended the family’s dedication in nurturing his sporting talent. He assured them that the District Administration Rajouri would extend all necessary support to help Yasser pursue his dreams and excel in the field of boxing.

In a significant step to empower young talent, the District Administration Rajouri has sanctioned sponsorship under Mission Vatsalya for Mohd Yasser and his sister, Fatima. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance and care to children falling under the orphan category, enabling them to pursue education, sports and other aspirations.
