RAJOURI OCT,12:-Taking strong action over poor performance in the implementation of the Aadi Karamyogi Abhiyan, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma (IAS), on Sunday (October 12), suspended three Block Development Officers (BDOs) and ordered an inquiry into the matter.
As per official orders, the BDOs of Kalakote, Budhal Old (Rajnagar), and Doongi blocks have been suspended and attached to the office of the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Rajouri pending inquiry.
“It has been observed that implementation of the Aadi Karamyogi Abhiyan in Rajouri district has remained unsatisfactory due to poor progress, non-establishment of Sewa Kendras, and uploading of fake and fictitious activities and photographs on the Aadi Parsaran Portal,” the DC’s order stated.
The orders further noted that despite repeated instructions from the government and the Deputy Commissioner’s office, no substantial improvement was observed in the performance of these blocks, compelling the administration to take disciplinary action.
“Pending inquiry into the matter, the Block Development Officers of Kalakote, Budhal Old (Rajnagar), and Doongi have been placed under suspension with immediate effect. During the suspension period, the officers shall remain attached to the office of ADDC Rajouri,” read the official suspension orders numbered 90, 91, and 92, issued on Sunday.
Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma has directed the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Rajouri to conduct a comprehensive inquiry and submit a detailed report within seven days.
