DC Rajouri Chairs Key Meeting to Resolve Issues Pertaining to Beripatan–Jhallas Road under PM Gati Shakti Project

RAJOURI, SEPTEMBER 16: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, today chaired an important meeting with concerned departments and executing agencies to review and resolve pending issues related to the Beripatan to Jhallas road project, being executed by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) under the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan.

The road project, which plays a crucial role in improving connectivity has pending issues like revenue papers for some villages and assessments of structures, fruit trees, and non-fruit trees at some sites.

Taking note of the issues, the Deputy Commissioner directed all concerned departments to expedite the process and submit the assessment reports at the earliest. He emphasized that timely resolution of these issues is crucial for maintaining the momentum of the project, which is of strategic and developmental importance.

The meeting was attended by the AC Defence, Israr Ahmed; OC BRO 58 RCC, Ankit Uniyal; DFO Nowshera, Shweta Deona; DHO, Shafqat Khan and other concerned officers.
