DC Kupwara inspects District Hospital, takes stock of various markets of Handwara for usage of masks, Covid SOPs

HANDWARA APRIL 20:-Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Imam Din today visited Handwara sub division, inspected District Hospital and various markets of Handwara Sub Division. He was accompanied by Superintendent Police Handwara, Sandeep Gupta; Additional Deputy Commissioner Handwara, Nazir Ahmad Mir; President Muncipal Committee Handwara, Masroor Ahmad, President Traders Federation Handwara and other concerned officers.
The Deputy Commissioner inspected District Hospital Handwara and inspected various sections of the Hospital including Emergency Ward and Trauma Room. He interacted with the patients and enquired about the health facilities being provided by the Hospital Administration to them.
The Deputy Commissioner also inspected various markets of the Handwara town and checked the usage of masks and adherence of Covid appropriate behaviour.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner talked to media persons and appealed the general public to follow Covid appropriate behaviour and make use of masks, sanitizers to protect themselves from the pandemic. He also urged upon the people to avoid unnecessary venturing out of their homes.
