RAJOURI, JANUARY 29 :–Even after 29 days of Dhangri twin terror incidents, in which 7 people were killed on January 1 & 2, Security Forces despite every effort couldn’t make contact with the perpetrators of Dhangri.
In the late evening hours on January 1, two terrorists entered the Dhangri village and opened indiscriminate fire on innocent civilians in which 4 people were killed on the spot while 6 others were injured out of which one later succumbs to injuries in a hospital at Jammu an IED also planted by the terrorists.
Before leaving the village the terrorists planted an IED outside the house of one of the deceased persons which exploded at about 10.30 am the next day, resulting in the death of two minors and injuries to seven others.
Reportedly, these terrorists had also killed two innocent civilians on December 16 near Army hospital by opening fire on them.
Meanwhile, Lt Gen Sandeep Jain, SM, GOC White Knight Corps on Sunday reviewed the security situation along Line of Control (LoC) in Nowshera (Rajouri) and Bhimber Gali (Poonch) sectors.
Besides reviewing the security scenario with the local Commanders, he also interacted with the While interacting with the troops deployed on the LoC in both districts.

Pertinent to mention here that highly trained terrorists making unsuccessful attempts for the last few months to sneak into this side of LoC from Rajouri & Poonch districts with the help of the Pakistan Army & terror organisations.
Alert Indian troops have foiled their many such attempts and are fully prepared to defeat Pakistan-sponsored nefarious design to disturb peace & tranquillity in both the border districts.
