KUPWARA APRIL 27 :–Ramzan Kareem, the holy month of Ramadan is one of the significant events in Islam, also considered to be one of the five pillars of the religion Islam guiding the ‘ummah’ (followers of Prophet Muhammed) towards a healthy and tranquil future. On the solemn occasion , 30RR of Indian Army organised ‘Dawat-e-Iftar’ today on 27 April 2022 at Army camp langate.

The event started with welcome address by CO 30RR Col Ankur panday followed by a special Ramzan Hamper distribution to all the attendees. The event also witnessed a heartfelt prayer by all the fasting devotees where in special prayer for well being of Indian Security Forces and prosperity of India was conducted by the Imam .The Divinity of Langate was in its full blossom when under the serene clouds of a pleasant evening an Iftar gathering was organised at Army Camp, Langate .

The guests collectively offered prayer (Namaz) for peace & prosperity in the valley followed by a community meal. After the prayers the guests interacted with each other and the Army officials.

The guests expressed their heart felt appreciation for the relentless efforts by the Army in maintaining peace in the valley and remembered the countless times in which the men in uniform became guardian angels when untoward incidents happened. They also expressed their hope that the holy month of ‘Ramzan’ will spread the message of good will and brother hood in the valley and guide all to an ever lasting peace. The locals were all grateful to the 30RR for facilitating such a gathering for them,
