DAJ suspended routine Opd’s on Saturday for two hours in Jammu region to support the pan India protest against the attack on doctors in West Bengal

Jammu June 15:–The Doctors Association Jammu (DAJ)suspended routine Opd’s on Saturday for two hours in all hospitals of Jammu region to support the pan India protest against the attack on doctors in West Bengal .
Dr Balvinder Singh, President DAJ said that attack on West Bengal doctors was a barbaric incident and simulated like a mob lynching ,As a mob of 200 people brutally assaulted doctors with no fault of theirs.He further retreated that he can understand the pain and agony of te patients and their attendance in such situations but still requested caution.
The DAJ demand that strict laws should be enacted so as to curb such incidents frequently. The president again appeals the patients and their relatives to keep faith in doctors as no doctor in world would wish his patient dies.
If situation in country will deteriorates like this he fears, Doctors will refuse to admit serious patients and all hospitals will become referral hospitals only.
On behalf of doctors association jammu he again appeals the Honourable Governor SH Satya pal Malik to kindly intervene and make assault on doctors a non bailable offence, provide better infrastructure to hospitals of state so that doctors work in peaceful environment.
