Rajouri, April 29: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Rajesh K Shavan today handed over a mini Van Ambulance to the GMC Authorities amid COVID19.
Among the others, Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Sher Singh and Principal GMC, Dr Kuldeep Singh, Dr Javid Iqbal, Nodal Officer Covid-19 GMC Rajouri were present on the occasion.
“The funds for the purchase of the Van Ambulance have been arranged out of the Red Cross Fund of the District Administration”, Deputy Commissioner informed.
Red Cross Fund is utilised for preventing and alleviate human suffering wherever it may be found and to protect life and health and ensure respect for the human being, in particular in times of emergencies
“There was an inadequate number of ambulances in GMC Rajouri and the provision of more Ambulance is the dire need of the hour to ensure the timely rescue of the patients amid COVID19 and to cater this demand, funds out of Red Cross have been utilised for the purpose and the public donated money should go to the public at this juncture of time”, the Deputy Commissioner added.
