COVID 19: Pooch Police Continued With ” We Care For You” Compaign, Distributes 120 Ration Kits To Areas Of Mandi Near the LOC

SURANKOTE,27 April: — Continuing it’s efforts to reach out the needy people,Poonch Police under the supervision of DIG Rajouri -Poonch Range Sh.Vivek Gupta (IPS) and SSP Poonch Sh. Ramesh Angral (JKPS) distributed 120 ration kits and other items near the Loc of villages chambar,kinari,sawjian ,khet and gali maidan of Poonch District.

The team from Police station Mandi and Dysp Dar Poonch Sheezan Bhat went to the areas and distributed ration kits each includes 10 kg rice,10 kg Atta,2 kg dals,1 kg each sugar,oil and other important household items among the needy people who are mostly widows,orphans, physically challenged.

It is pertinent to mention here that last week about 300 kits distributed in far flung areas of Loran and police officials of the district themselves collected money and purchased ration kits for the deserving families.

Apart from distributing food & other items, Police teams from their respective police establishments across the Poonch District made people aware of the precautions issued by the health department through loudspeakers, drones and whatever way possible. They were also advised to stay at their homes in order to stay safe.
