Privatization of government and public undertaking will lead to financial emergency: Lalit Sharma

Jammu March, 25:— Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Vichar Vibhag an intellectual and planning wing of INC held a Protest Dharna in front of Raj Bhawan at Jammu and there after submitted a Memorandum to the Hon’ ble Lt Governor JKUT demanding rolling back of price hike of petrol , diesel , cooking gas , edible oils , other essential commodities, restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir , employment avenues for un-employed youth , regularisation of daily wagers , adho’c and temporary employees and hike in public transport fare.

The protest was lead by Adv. Ashok Sharma, National Coordinator AICC Vichar Vibhag, Ex-MLA Kalakote and Ex-MLC, Capt. Lalit Sharma, Chairman Pradesh Congress Vichar Vibhag, Rajiv Saraf Former NSUI President, Adv Zahid Malik Secretary PCVV, Col BD Sharma Chairman VV Samba, Col Bana Ram, Adv Khilari Lal Koran Chairman VV Jammu Urban North.

While speaking on dharna, Mr. Ashok Sharma, National Coordinator AICC Vichar Vibhag urged upon the people of Jammu region to unite themselves and fight for the restoration of statehood, roll back of price hike of essential commodities ensuring their dignity, pride and honour.

Mr. Sharma added that trust deficit has been deepened by the present dispensation lead by Mr. Modi which needs to be restored to build strong India. He further said that the youth is future of the country unless they are provided adequate employment opportunities and involved to work for the unity, integrity and sovereignty of the country, India cannot progress.

He further added that rolling back of three farm black laws is of imperative necessity of the country while providing good governance.

Capt. Lalit Sharma, Chairman J&K Pradesh Congress Vichar Vibhag in his address express serious concern over the alarming fall of growth rate in the country and unrest among the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

He said unless the concrete steps are not taken ensuring administrative reforms the common man will remain suffering. He opposed the privatization of the railways, airports, roads, etc and urged the union Prime Minister to restrain from anti-people policies.
