UDHAMPUR MAY 05 :–Commandant, 15″ Bn ITBP flagged off the seven-day “Bharat Darshan/ Watan ko Jano” tour from Udhampur to Puducherry for a group of children at 15 Bn ITB Police, Paranoo Camp on Friday 06/05/22. The tour has been organized by 15th Bn ITBP under Civic Action Programme (CAP). Chief Guest Dr Vinod Kumar, IPS., SSP, Udhampur graced the function.
Paras Thapa, Commandant welcomed all the participants and guest and informed that this is the 5 tour in Bharat Darshan series which is being organized by this unit. The touring group consists of 46 students, 02 academic staff of Govt. Higher Secondary school, Jaganoo and 02 ITBP officials as tour coordinator.
The touring group will visit various historical monuments/ places at Delhi, Mahabalipuram- a UNESCO heritage site, and Puducherry and will call on Hon’ble Lt. Governor of Puducherry during the tour. While interacting with the participating children, Sh Paras Thapa, Commandant whishes them a happy and safe journey and advised them to avail the opportunity to enrich their knowledge by visiting historical places and other modern marvels of India. He further added that the Bharat Darshan tour will help children develop a better understanding of India at large and thus become responsible citizens.
