Command Hospital Udhampur Conducts MAIDEN Educational Programme

UDHAMPUR JULY 31:—As part of commitment towards “Holistic Patient Care” a special educational program was organized by Command Hospital (Northern Command) for the paramedical staff who are at the centre of patient care activities. This program was aimed at training the paramedic staff to put their knowledge about best clinical and nursing practices to the best use and provide state of the act care to the patients. A total strength of 350 participated. Maj Gen SC Dash, Major General (Medical), HQ Northern Command was the Chief Guest for the event which included scientific sessions and lectures on Basic Nursing Care, Emergency and Critical Care, Preventive and Advanced Nursing Care, Nursing Administration and Management which were successfully conducted by Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) and Non Commissioned officers (NCOs) of AMC.

Command Hospital (Northern Command) is uniquely positioned to provide state of the art tertiary care to soldiers, veterans and their families alongwith civil population. The hospital was raised on 23 Jul 1948 as 148 Indian General Hospital and is celebrating its Diamond Jubilee in the year 2022-23. Since its inception, the hospital has progressed into a great healing force.

During the event, the chief guest congratulated all ranks of Command Hospital, Udhampur on this unique initiative and appreciated the dedication and professionalism exhibited by the paramedics and exhorted them to keep up the good work. The event culminated with closing address of Maj Gen DK Sreevastava, Commandant, Command Hospital, Udhampur who thanked the chief guest and complemented all participants for their focused and ardent approach during the conduct of the event.
