RAJOURI NOVEMBER 07 :–Christ High School Nowshera on Monday celebrated its 30th foundation day on November 6th in which Chief Guest Rizwan Uddin (PF Commissioner, J&K and Ladakh) encouraged the children with his inspirational words.
The celebration even started with a prayer song/dance followed by the lighting of lamps by the guests while the welcome address was delivered by the school Principal, Father Sujit Mathew.
The guests were made to take their seats by Vice Principal Father Lijo and members of the School Parliament.
The very special guest present on the occasion, Mohammad Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafri (SDPO Nowshera) praised the school family and inspired the students with his powerful speech by sharing his experience.
Isha Choudhary, a class 10th student, enthralled everyone by singing the song ‘Moh Moh ke Dhaage’.
Father Sijo graced everyone with his presidential address by honoring the promising students who had secured high marks in the 10th class examination and had made their mark in the fields of dance, singing, and acting at the state level.
The formal program was conducted by school coordinator Rose Maria Mathai. Head boy Vasu Sharma thanked everyone.
The glimpse of Kathak, Sufi, and other folk dances enthralled the audience. Many excellent presentations like Baahubali dance-drama’s excellent staging and sub-classical singing thrilled the parents
Dr. Rizwan ji, a scientist coming from T. Bangalore along with the Cultural Coordinator While praising the child artists, music teacher Charan, and dance directors Luv Gupta and Rimika along with martial arts trainee Amit Sudan were honored with mementos.
In the last round of the program, about four hundred artists performed together on patriotic songs.
With the spirit of patriotism in their hearts, the whole gathering danced to the echoes of the song “Jai Ho” in unison.
By waving hundreds of tricolour flags together and displaying the symbols of all religions, the students presented a unique example of patriotism.
Vasu, Mohit, Karanjeet, and Jasmeelan played an excellent role as facilitators of the program.
Father Mathew, Father Joseph, Father Mani, Amit Gupta, Satish Kumar, Sumit Heer, principals and teachers of other schools, and other dignitaries were present in the program
