JAMMU SEPTEMBER 11:-Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo today chaired a high-level meeting to review the implementation of the Cyber Security Action Plan across Jammu and Kashmir.

The Chief Secretary directed the swift rollout of the e-SAM portal for inventorization and monitoring of IT assets across all departments. It was informed that EDR and UEM solutions have already been deployed on over 5,100 Civil Secretariat devices, with the rollout to Head of Department (HoD) offices currently in progress.

The meeting reviewed Cyber Crisis Management Plans, the adoption of official government email IDs, and enforcement of USB restrictions to curb vulnerabilities. Dulloo stressed the need for proactive cyber hygiene and called for the early operationalization of the Mini-SOC in Jammu, which will subsequently be upgraded to a full-fledged Security Operations Centre (SOC).

He also directed departments to migrate to the Meghraj Cloud platform and adopt IPv6 for enhanced security and efficiency.

Urging strict adherence to timelines, the Chief Secretary asked all departments to work in close coordination with the IT Department, plug security gaps, and strengthen digital resilience for secure governance.
