JAMMU JULY 14:–Chairman J&K Human Development Foundation (Regd.) Sayeed Mughal expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Deep Raj (KAS), the Project Director of SAMAGRA SHIKSHA J&K Department of School Education Jammu, and Bilal Rashid Mir Deputy Director of Planning SMAGRA SHIKSHA, for their invaluable support in sanctioning of various developmental works for Government Middle School and Government Higher Secondary School in Ghambir Mughlan of District Rajouri.
Sayeed Mughal Chairman said that, on behalf of the entire community, especially the parents, students, and teachers, I extend my deepest thanks for giving due consideration to our requests. It is truly rewarding to witness the positive outcomes of our efforts. During my meeting with them, they assured that all the demands presented would be included in the current financial year. I am delighted to announce that all the demands which put forth have been approved, including the construction of two classrooms @ 36 lakh, a boundary wall @ 5.32 lakh, and separate toilets for boys and girls @ 4.08 lakh at Government Middle School Ghambir Mughlan ,for Government Higher Secondary School Ghambir Mughlan, four staff quarters worth @ 96 lakh, four classrooms worth @ 72 lakh, a smart classroom, an incinerator, a vending machine, and a fencing wall/boundary wall have been also sanctioned.
Sayeed Mughal said that, I am highly thankful to Mr Bilal Rashid Mir, Deputy Director Planning for personally interven and ensuring the inclusion of these vital works in the plan. Having visited this area several times during his service in District Rajouri, he possesses a comprehensive understanding of the conditions and needs of these schools. His knowledge, combined with our representation, has played a crucial role in fulfilling these demands. I have great expectations under his dynamic supervision and planning, for the development in education sector will reach new heights.
Sayeed Mughal also said that, It is undeniable that providing schools with adequate resources is pivotal in fostering their growth. Unfortunately, schools in rural areas often suffer from poor infrastructure due to a lack of resources,Inadequate buildings, lack of facilities such as laboratories, playgrounds, and toilets, result in low enrollment and early dropouts. The condition of schools significantly influences students’ academic achievements. I had an opportunity to meet personally with such officers in his office and informed him about the delayed in execution of the two classrooms that were sanctioned last year for the Government Higher Secondary School in Ghambhir Mughlan. Although the tender was floated and the work was assigned to a contractor, more than a year and a half had passed without any progress. As a member of the School Management Committee at that time, I, along with other committee members, allocated the land in the presence of the contractor. However, no further action was taken. Upon hearing Bilal Rashid Mir immediately addressed the issue and demanded an explanation from the executing agency regarding the delay. He directed the concerned Engineering Wing to ensure that the work commences on Monday, July 18, 2023, so that the students of the school do not suffer any further.
Sayeed Mughal further said that, I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to the Principal of Government Higher Secondary School Ghambir Mughlan, Shamsheer Ahmed Khan, for his proactive approach in managing the school, staff, and students. Soon after assuming the position, he promptly wrote a letter to the higher authorities, highlighting the infrastructural and other needs of the school. With his leadership, I am confident that the school will achieve great heights in the days to come.
Sayeed Mughal said that, I would like to express my gratitude to the LG Administration and the J&K School Education Department for their prompt attention to the important issues affecting the students.
