Ch Zulfiqar Ali the richest BJP candidate in Rajouri Poonch and Ravinder Raina the poorest BJP Candidate

RAJOURI SEPT 06:–The nomination process for the eight assembly seats of Rajouri has been completed. As per  affidavits submitted by the candidates along with the nomination to the RO’s of their respective assembly which show that Choudhary Zulfiqar Ali, who is contesting on a BJP ticket from Budhal assembly constituency, is the richest candidate, while the BJP state president who is contesting from Nowshera assembly constituency is the poorest candidate.

As per affidavit BJP candidate from Budhal assembly constituency, Choudhary Zulfiqar Ali has immovable property worth Rs 3 crore 22 lakh 11 thousand six hundred 40 and his wife has immovable property worth Rs 1 crore 3 lakh 44 thousand. While the movable property is worth Rs 17 crore 26 thousand 85 thousand 976.

BJP candidate from Nowshera assembly constituency, Ravinder Raina has nothing. He is the poorest candidate. He has only Rs 1 thousand in cash. While he has a government quarter to live in Jammu. Apart from this, they neither have any vehicle nor any jewellery.

BJP candidate from Poonch Haveli assembly constituency Choudhary Abdul Ghani has immovable assets worth Rs 8.63 crore and movable assets worth Rs 41.14 lakh. BJP candidate from Thanna Mandi assembly constituency and former deputy commissioner Muhammad Iqbal Malik has movable and immovable assets worth Rs 1.79 crore, while his wife also has almost the same property.

BJP candidate from Rajouri assembly constituency Vibodh Gupta has movable assets worth Rs 2.10 crore and immovable assets worth Rs 27.36 lakh, while his wife has immovable assets worth Rs 1.92 crore and movable assets worth Rs 65.82 lakh.

DDC and Congress candidate from Surankote Muhammad Shahnawaz Choudhary has immovable assets worth Rs three crore and movable assets worth Rs 23.57 lakh, while Congress candidate from Rajouri Iftikar Ahmed has movable and immovable assets worth Rs 2.5 crore.

Former minister and Congress candidate from Thanna Mandi assembly constituency Shabir Ahmad Khan has assets worth Rs 1.5 crore.

Former MLA from Mendhar and NC candidate Javed Ahmad Rana has movable and immovable assets worth Rs 3.76 crore, while his wife has assets worth Rs 4.2 crore.

NC candidate from Budhal assembly constituency Javed Iqbal Choudhary has immovable assets worth Rs 6.98 crore and movable assets worth Rs 1.87 crore.

Former MLA Shah Mohammad Tantray, J&K Apni Party candidate from Poonch Haveli assembly constituency, has assets worth Rs 1.5 crore, while PDP candidate from Mendhar and son of former MLA Nadeem Ahmad Khan has assets worth Rs 1.5 crore.
