In a section of print media (on February,1) it was alleged that the name of a particular blue-eyed teacher was not in the list provided by the 5 members Selection Committee (SC).
It was also alleged that the SC members were also shocked when the teacher(s) awarded on the Republic Day even were not in the nominations sent by the 15 Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs).
“All the 15 ZEOs of the district were asked to submit the files/cases of the best teachers for the award, one each from a zone who had worked exemplary during Covid-19 pandemic” said CEO.
