Burglary inside District Court Complex Rajouri

RAJOURI, APRIL 04:–An incident of burglary has been reported in the Malkhana situated inside the complex of highly protected District Court Complex Rajouri in old Rajouri town on the intervening night of April 3 & 4.

After the matter of burglary came to light in the morning, the work in all the courts was reportedly suspended and a police team headed by senior officers reached the spot.
Sniffer Dog was also brought to the court complex.

The District Court complex is highly fortified and two guards of police looking after the security of the complex.
No official statement has been issued in this connection by the concerned authorities.

Even senior officers, including SSP and Additional SP, not responded to the official version of the theft incident.The detail about the items stolen by the burglars was also not made available.

President Bar Association Rajouri, former MLA and Advocate Qamar Choudhary have strongly condemned burglary inside the highly protected Court Complex, which also has the residents of judges and Courtrooms.

“No person can enter the highly guarded Court Complex during night hours. We demand an immediate and transparent investigation into this incident and the culprits should bring to book as soon as possible,” said Advocate Qamar Choudhry.
He also expressed his concern over the safety of the Judges residing inside the court complex and demanded further strengthening of the security of the Court Complex.
