Senior PDP leader Mohammad Farooq Inqlabi has raised serious concerns over the mysterious death of an 18-year-old girl in Budhal, calling it a “deeply disturbing” incident that warrants urgent and transparent investigation.
Inqlabi stated, “This is not just a case of a tragic death — the circumstances suggest possible foul play. The family strongly believes their daughter was murdered, and there are alarming indications that she may have been sexually assaulted. These are not allegations to be taken lightly.”
Demanding immediate action, he said, “I urge the authorities to launch a time-bound, impartial investigation. Justice delayed is justice denied. The truth must come out — and the guilty, no matter how powerful, must be brought to justice.”
He also appealed to civil society, media, and human rights organizations to stand with the victim’s family in their quest for justice.
