RAJOURI OCT 04:-As part of the Government of India’s Special Campaign 4.0 under the Swachh Bharat Swasth Bharat Mission, the Border Security Force (BSF), Regional Headquarters Rajouri and troops of Battalion, organized a cleanliness program at Rajouri Bus Stand. The event was led by Chandra Mohan Singh Rawat, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the BSF, Rajouri.
More than 150 officers, subordinate officers, and personnel participated in this initiative, demonstrating a strong commitment to the vision of Swachh Bharat (Clean India). The program commenced with a street play to engage the public, highlighting the importance of a clean environment, the harmful effects of unhygienic practices, and the vital role each citizen can play in contributing to a cleaner India.
Following the play, the BSF personnel, led by the DIG, undertook the cleaning of Rajouri Bus Stand, significantly transforming its appearance. DIG Chandra Mohan Singh Rawat, in his address, urged the shopkeepers, drivers, and vendors in the area to maintain the newly cleaned environment and contribute towards keeping India clean and beautiful.
This initiative reflects the BSF’s dedication not only to national security but also to public health and environmental well-being.
