RAJOURI JANUARY 25:— Union Territory (UT) of Jammu & Kashmir with an aim to ensure expeditious improvement in the Socio-Economic status of 44 most backward blocks of the UT has rolled out a programme known as the Aspirational Block Development Programme (ABDP).
In Rajouri district block Khawas has been selected under ABDP and in this connection, Pawan Kumar, ADDC on Monday chaired a meeting of the concerned officers to discuss the modalities for smooth implementation of ABDP.
A detailed discussion with regard to the collection of data for the baseline survey and drafting the action plan for the holistic development of the block was held in the meeting.
The ADDC asked the concerned Departments to adopt best practices so as to get tangible results on the ground in a time-bound manner.
ADDC directed the Departments to achieve 100 percent saturation of beneficiaries of individual beneficiary schemes, besides covering the scope of other welfare schemes.
“Conduct a preliminary survey in each Panchayat of the block and submit a report on the selected parameters at the earliest,” said ADDC.
Officers present in the meeting included ACD, Sushil Khajuria; ACP, Abdul Rashid Kohli; PO ICDS, Kartar Singh; DSEO, Bilal Rashid Mir; DSHO, Dr. Sarfraz Naseem Chowdhury and other concerned officers.
