B2V3 concludes across the 136 panchayats of the district Kishtwar.

Kishtwar October 10-:–The mega ‘Back to Village’ (B2V3) programme culminated successfully yesterday in Kishtwar district during which series of activities were held across 136 Panchayats of 13 blocks of the district.

The programme was closely monitored by District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kishtwar Rajinder Singh Tara.

During the three days and two nights stay at the assigned Panchayats, the Visiting Officers interacted with people and PRI representatives and recorded their developmental demands.

Ward Sabhas, mahila Sabhas ,Bal Sabhas were also held in wherein the local people gave a detailed feedback regarding the present status of the local infrastructure in health and education sector , road connectivity,and drinking water facilities besides the plans under the 15FC for the year 2021-22 were discussed and passed with public participation.

During these sabhas visiting teams was informed about the implementation status of work projects identified during the first and second phase of ‘Back to Village’ programme.

The officers also inspected Schools, Aaganwadi centers, Health Institutions etc, to take stock of their functioning. They also took stock of the developmental works in these Panchayats.

Focus of the Back to Village-3 is to strengthen the trust of people on government and bridge the gap between them.

Visiting officers met BDC chairpersons, PRIs and prominent members of Gram Panchayats.

Inspection of the government establishments, ongoing
and completed works under MGNREGA, 14th FC, PMAY, were also conducted during the B2V-3.

Specially speaking Greh Pravesh in the PMAY houses were held across the district.

Dustbins were installed at the identified places besides various new projects were kickstarted during this back to village programme.

The cultural and traditional practices of the different areas of the district were given impetus during this mega programmes in collaboration with the locals.

Awareness regarding the Nasha Mukhti Abhiyan, precautionary measures of COVID19 and Beti Bachao Beti Padao were also imparted to masses.

The top levels officers from district administrtion besides the commissioners/secretary Labour and Employement department Sourabh bhagat and the Director Horticulture planning and Marketing Department jammu Imam Din also attended the evening chopals at various places to have an interface with the local issues.
