RAJOURI NOV 29:-In a move aimed at easing congestion and ensuring smoother traffic flow, the Rajouri administration issued a directive on Friday evening to address the growing issue of road jams in the city. The order mandates the closure of all stands operating on city roads and establishes designated stands for vehicles from different routes.

The directive, signed by Yusuf-ul-Umar, the Executive Officer of the Municipal Council, emphasizes that strict action will be taken against any passenger vehicle found dropping off or picking up passengers on the roads. Such vehicles will face immediate seizure. This measure is intended to prevent traffic snarls caused by illegal parking and boarding.

Additionally, the administration has implemented specific time restrictions for heavy vehicles. These vehicles will no longer be allowed to enter Rajouri between 8 AM and 8 PM. After this timeframe, they may enter the city, thus reducing daytime congestion caused by oversized traffic.

According to the new plan, vehicles traveling to various locations will be redirected to specific bus stands. Those heading to Kashmir from Darhal, Thanna Mandi, Shahdara Sharif, Buffliaz,Chowdhary nar,Dodaj, Dandkote, Leeran, Topa, Sabzi, S0kar, prori Bowali, Fathapur, Dharali morh, Bowli, Surankot via Dera Ki Gali and Mughal Road will now operate from the newly constructed bus stand in Bela Colony. If strictly enforced, these measures are expected to significantly reduce traffic jams in Rajouri, ensuring a smoother and more efficient flow of vehicles, making daily commutes easier for residents and visitors alike.

AjmerDargah Row: Sabiya Bano Slams Petition Claiming Shrine As Shiva Temple

    GNS ONLINE NEWS PORTAL

SRINAGAR NOV 29:-RLJP State Secretary Women’s wing and incharge North Zone women’s wing Sabiya Bano, has strongly criticized the recent petition claiming the revered Ajmer Dargah as a Shiva temple. Bano, known for her vocal stance against religious intolerance and hatred, has called the petition an attempt to sow discord and communal disharmony in the country.

The Ajmer Dargah, also known as Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Dargah, is one of the most significant and sacred Muslim shrines in India. Every year, millions of devotees, both Muslims and people of other faiths, visit the Dargah to seek blessings and offer their prayers.

In response to the petition, filed in a Rajastan court , Bano stated, “The attempt to reclassify Ajmer Dargah as a Shiva temple is not just factually incorrect but also a blatant act of religious provocation. Our country has a long history of religious harmony and tolerance, and such actions only seek to undermine that fabric of unity.”

Bano went on to urge the authorities to dismiss the petition and take strict action against those trying to disrupt the peace and communal harmony of the country. She emphasized the importance of respecting all religions and maintaining the secular fabric of India.

Yakub Dunoo Condemns Plea Targeting Ajmer Dargah, Warns of Communal Violence

    GNS ONLINE NEWS PORTAL

SRINAGAR NOV 29:-Mohammad Yakub Dunoo, the Central Kashmir Incharge of the National Loktantrik Party (NLP), on Friday strongly condemned a plea filed in a Rajasthan court claiming that the Ajmer Dargah was built over a Hindu temple. He warned that such actions, targeting mosques and shrines, could escalate communal tensions and lead to further violence.

Yakub Dunoo expressed deep concern over the increasing trend of uncovering alleged “hidden temples” across the country. He described this as an unhealthy obsession that diverts national attention from pressing issues. “And make no mistake, a significant section of the population is applauding it,” he remarked, highlighting the dangerous polarization within the nation.

The NLP leader further stated that these actions seem to be a deliberate attempt to divide Hindus and Muslims, calling them “criminal programs” designed to distract people from critical national issues.

Citing the iconic patriotic lines *Sare Jahan Se Accha, Hindustan Hamara; Hum Bulbule Hain Iski, Yeh Gul Sita Hamara* Dunoo lamented the current state of affairs, asserting that the spirit of unity and harmony symbolized by these verses is being undermined.

“Ajmer Sharif is being targeted, which can lead to further bloodshed. Who will take responsibility for perpetuating this communal violence reminiscent of the partition days?” he questioned.

Dunoo emphasized that such actions are a clear violation of the Places of Worship (Special Provisions) Act, 1991, which prohibits the conversion of religious sites. He urged the government and civil society to take immediate steps to prevent the escalation of communal tensions, stressing the importance of protecting the secular fabric of the nation.

The National Loktantrik Party’s Central Kashmir Incharge appealed to citizens to reject divisive agendas and work towards a united and peaceful India.

    GNS ONLINE NEWS PORTAL

SRINAGAR NOV 28:-J&K Awami National Conference Senior Vice President Muzzafar Shah has strongly opposed the recent court order permitting a survey of the Ajmer Sharif Dargah, a spiritual epicenter revered by millions across the subcontinent.

Shah criticized the decision as part of a larger, systematic effort to fan communal hatred in the country.

Reflecting on the historical context, Shah said that many believed the Babri Masjid case would mark the end of such disputes, but the communal agenda continues unabated. Today, Ajmer Sharif has become the latest target in this divisive campaign.”

Shah drew attention to the parallels between the erosion of Jammu and Kashmir’s constitutional guarantees and the ongoing assault on the secular fabric of India. “What was once heralded as ‘Naya Kashmir’ has only revealed a bleak reality where rights are stripped, and harmony is undermined,” he said.

He further criticized the trajectory of the nation, stating, “From Naya Kashmir to Naya India, we are witnessing a disturbing shift—one where intolerance thrives, the Constitution is mocked, and the common man bears the brunt. This is a soul-searching moment for all of us.”

Warning of the dire consequences, Shah underscored the dangers such malicious conspiracies pose for the nation’s unity and future generations. “These calculated moves to create a vicious divide threaten not just the present but also the legacy we leave behind for those who follow.”
