    RAJOURI SEPTEMBER 26:–In the holy month of Rabi Ul Awal, Eid Milad Un Nabi is celebrated on 12th Rabi ul Awal with great religious fervor across the world. Buildings, streets and mosques are illuminated and decorated beautifully. Muslims all across the world prepare Na`ats and Hamds to recite in the special holy gathering of the Mehfil –E- Milad.

    On 26 September 2023, Mehfil – E –Milad was held at , Azher National Academy, Darhal ,with great reverence and devotion. I would like to start off by sharing my experience of our Milad’s performance and to give a brief review of the 12th Rabi ul Awal Milad Celebration.

    Mehfil – e – Milad on Eid Milad Un Nabi

    It began with the name of Allah (SWT), the Most Merciful and Beneficent and followed by the recitation of a beautiful Hamd by Sultan Malik. Learners of grade 3rd recited a qawwali marvelously and said a few words on the aspect of celebrating this auspicious day.

    My dear teachers also participated and parents were also invited to be part of this event. It would not be fair if I don’t tell you about the beautiful decorations that my school did. The theme of the holy occasion was How prophet Mohammad (PBUH ) transformed the world. The stage was decorated with white and pink flowers, the aura of the event was overwhelming.between performances, teachers recited Durood to remind us of the importance of sending peace and blessings to our beloved prophet ‘Muhammad al Mustafa’ (May Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him). All students performed well and did justice to the hard work put in by their teachers.

    The teachers worked tirelessly day in and day out to make all students practice well, selecting beautiful Hamds and Na`ats for different grades and sections, and getting approvals for dresses and stage décor from the teachers and principal.

    I truly appreciate the hard work of my school in improving our skills and enhancement of our knowledge of the world as well as our religion.

    Dr Sadeeq malik was the chief guest of function and Qari Nazakat malik , Before the event procession led by students of azher National Academy. After the procession beautiful Event conduct at school. In which large number of students take part in eloucation contest, Naat and Qwali. Student’s of ANA shows their stupendous performance .A core team of teachers always prepared students for better outcomes in every sphere. After completion of ist and second session of programe Qari Nazakat malik recite a naat beautiful and melodious voice, That really touched to the heart’s of every one. On this great event of Eid E Miladunnabi chief guest Dr. sadeeq malik highlight the value of Islam , values of time , and specially enlighten to students about the life of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH),how Mohammad (SAW ) transform this world from darkness toward light . He is a prophet of all the prophet and the last messanger of Allah. At last Dr. sadeeq malik said that ,we should have to follow the paths and divine of prophet Mohammad SAW

    One of the oldest Primary Health in Budhal Block faces Lack of basic facilities to patients :- People are worried for decades

    RRAJOURI SEPTEMBER 21 :– Primary health center was established in Budhal block of Rajouri district for about 50 years ago but could not be upgraded till date. Patients have to travel 25 kilometers to Kotranka or almost 70 kilometers Rajouri headquarter for necessary treatment. It is noteworthy that Primary Health Center Budhal was established in 1970 which Kandi Budhal block of Rajouri district is oldest health center while the said primary health center could not be upgraded till date.

    Residents of Budhal have been demanding to upgrade the primary health center to community health center, but even after several decades, the demand of the peoples could not be fulfilled.local peoples criticized and told that for past several years,has been demanded from Jammu and Kashmir aadministration for upgrad primary health center Budhal,

    While there is no response to the demand of the people’s.They blamed the Jammu and Kashmir administration and said that the attention of the administration is not being diverted to solve the problems of the people of Budhal region is not available necessary machinery in PHC Budhal peoples said they have to go  Kotranka Rajouri or private clinics for ultrasound, they said that Budhal is being neglected from decades.

    Basic facilities necessary machinery is available in othet PHCs whereas modern machinery is not available in Budhal PHC.It should be noted that in 2017 when the state health minister Bali Bhagat visited Budhal and he assured the people’s of Budhal that the status of the said PHC will be upgraded but no practical steps have been taken till date. The people of Budhal region demanded from the Jammu and Kashmir LG administration that the said PHC should be upgraded to CHC so that basic facilities can be made available to the people of Budhal region“`

    MENDHAR SEPTEMBER  21 :–Vice-Chairperson District Development Council Poonch Er Mohd Ashfaq Ch visited the far-flung Dharana Lower area of Mendhar constituency and interacted with the people and listened to their grievances.
    During the tour, people raised several demands and problems being faced by them. The issues raised by the people included improvement of roads, better drinking water and electricity supply. It was also informed by the local job cardholders that they have not been paid their wages for the last couple of years for various developmental projects under MGNREGA.     RAJOURI SEPTEMBER 21:–Director Horticulture Jammu Ram Savak, (JKAS) today held an extensive tour of Rajouri district. During inauguration of training programme on Value addition of Fruits and vegetables in training hall at Rajouri, Director Horticulture laid emphasis on adopting new technologies on value addition of fruits and vegetables and simultaneously establish processing units for which handsome subsidy is available with the department.
    At the outset, of the training/ interaction, Director Horticulture Jammu reviewed the Horticulture activities in the District particularly new orchard establishment under CAPEX with special emphasis on Ultra High Density plantation and other components in the District. He urged upon officers of the Department to leave no stone unturned and work day and night for upliftment of the poor farmers of the District.
    Later on Director Horticulture inaugurates Walnut processing Unit established at Phalni Kotranka for which subsidy amount of Rs. 5.07 Lacs have been provided by the Department as subsidy component. Afterwards an impressive farmers camp was held at Budhal wherein large number of farmers besides various PRIs members and BDC chairman Budhal were present. Director deliberated upon adopting Horticulture as profession along with integrated farming for higher returns. Experts of Department gave a detailed presentation on technical know how and management of the fruit plants. Horticulture Officers of District Rajouri revealed the topographical SWOT analysis of the area.
    Some queries were raised by farming community regarding the implementation of the Horticulture schemes, and certain demands were also raised. The chair gave a patient hearing and assured the farmers for early redressal.
    Earlier Chief Horticulture Officer Madan Lal Tak briefed the chair about the achievements under various components in the District. In the evening director Horticulture visited Govt Fruit Plant Nursery Budhal.

    RAJOURI, SEPTEMBER 21: –To ensure access to clean drinking water in rural areas, 293 Water Supply Schemes are being executed in Rajouri District under Flagship Jal Jeevan Mission.

    Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting to evaluate the progress of the on-going schemes.

    With an unwavering commitment to the success of the mission, the Deputy Commissioner stressed the importance of high-quality work, timely completion of projects, and effective supervision to ensure the mission’s goals are met. The meeting shed light on the remarkable progress made in Rajouri with the work well underway on 240 schemes against the total 293 approved projects.

    To expedite the completion of the schemes, the Deputy Commissioner directed officers to adopt a result-driven approach and adhere to set timelines for completion of each project. With focused efforts and dedicated work, the mission is fast becoming a reality, promising to deliver a healthier and happier life for the region’s populace.

    Overall the meeting was a constructive platform for officers to share their experiences, exchange ideas, and find solutions to the challenges facing the implementation of the Jal Jeevan Mission. The Deputy Commissioner directed them to continue working with dedication and commitment to achieve the mission’s objectives.

    Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal was the chief guest on the occasion.

    The Deputy Commissioner delivered an inspirational address to the attending school students and participants. He shared insights and strategies to combat substance abuse and promote a “Nasha Mukt Bharat” (Addiction-Free India). His words aimed to inspire positive change and instill a sense of responsibility among the youth.

    RAJOURI, SEPTEMBER 21: In a pivotal meeting, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, meticulously reviewed the arrangements for the Eid Milad Ul Nabi (SAW), alongside officers and representatives of various religious organizations.

    With unwavering focus, the meeting delved into essential facets such as seamless water and power supply, healthcare provisions, parking logistics, and efficient transport services.

    Addressing the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the imperative duty of officers and officials to furnish the populace with indispensable amenities, encompassing potable water, sanitation, medical care, efficient transportation, uninterrupted power and water provisioning, and all other requisite essentials.

    The vigilant law enforcement agencies received firm directives to deploy ample police personnel on this holy occasion, safeguarding the security of the public. Traffic authorities, likewise, were tasked with crafting a meticulous traffic management and parking strategy to ensure the smooth flow of vehicles on the designated day.

    The DC enjoined the concerned authorities from the Power Development Department and Jal Shakti Department to guarantee uninterrupted power and water supply for the community during the festive period.

    The concerned officer from the fire and emergency department received explicit instructions to maintain a state of readiness for fire tenders, both day and night. The Municipal Committee Executive Officer (EO) was mandated to ensure the cleanliness of the town throughout the festivities.

    The Health Department was tasked with ensuring the availability of comprehensive medical facilities to address any potential emergencies. The Officer from the Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs Department was instructed to intensify market inspections, curbing overpricing, profiteering, and black-market activities.

    POONCH SEPTEMBER 19:–District Youth Services and Sports Officer Poonch Mohd Qasim declared open the Inter District divison level competitions at sports stadium Poonch. Beside on the opening ceremony guest of honour was Principal BHSS Poonch.

    Competitions conducting in the disciplines of Volleyball under 17 years Boys and under 17 years Boys Hockey.

    This sporting extravaganza is being organized under the patronage of Director Youth Services and Sports, Subhash Chandra Chibber,(JKAS) Deputy Director Central YS&S Jitender Mishra (JKAS) and the able guided by JD-YSS Jammu, Suram Chand Sharma (JKAS). Moreover overall supervision of the event falls under the purview of DYSSO Poonch , Mohd Qasim.

    All the ten District of Jammu divison are participating in under 17 years boys volleyball and 4 district are participating in under 17 years boys hockey.

    In opening match of volleyball District Ramban defeated District Samba by 3-1 sets where in Hockey under 17 years Boys District Jammu defeated District Kathua by 5-3 goals.

    Zonal physical education officers , PEM, PET,REK,NYC, Groundman , Prominent citizens and veteran sports person,s were also Present on the occasion.vijay kumar PEM conducted the opening ceremony as an anchor.
    The participants and sports staff appreciated the youth services and sports unit Poonch for providing excellent mess and stay management.

    RAJOURI SEPTEMBER 19 :- The menace of overloading has become a serious problem in Budhal Kotranka of Rajouri district as no strict action has been taken against the rule violators under the nose of the concerned department and authorities. Locals said that overloading in minibuses Tempo Automagic are commonly seen on major roads in Budhal Kotranka as local drivers are flouting traffic rules and carrying passengers beyond capacity.
    A tempo is going from Samote to Targain while some students are seen hanging on the back of the tempo openly inviting major mishaps. Traffic police make tall claims of fighting the scourge of overloading in Budhal Kotranka of Rajouri district, but the claims are only on paper as overloading of minibuses Tempo Automagic and other passenger vehicles is becoming commonplace. The traffic police has completely failed to stop such cases seriously.

    The failure of the concerned department shows that overloading continues in Budhal Kotranka Khawas, including the link roads of many villages in the areas .

Overloading has become a common sight among drivers of automagic and minibuses on Kotranka Budhal roads.Although the authorities claim to be taking necessary measures to control overloading, it still continues unabated on several roads along Kotranka-Budhal. Peoples from different areas of Budhal Kotarnka Khawas said that they face severe problems due to overloading. This is proving to be a nightmare. Apart from putting passengers in serious trouble, it also threatens peoples lives. Overloading has become a main problem in Budhal Kotranka.

    Local peoples are surprised that the concerned authorities are not taking any  action against traffic rules violators . Every one has to think ten times before boarding an overloaded vehicle but there is no other option.

    Failed to curb this scourge, the traffic authorities give a free hand to Automagic and minibuses drivers who continue to flout rules and regulations thus endangering thousands of lives in the Kotranka Budhal areas of Rajouri district.

    Every year hundreds of travelers lose their precious lives. Budhal Kotranka has been known for fatal accidents in the past due to accidents caused by overloading of passenger vehicles. Hundreds of passengers have been killed and thousands injured over the past few years. The traffic police have failed miserably to take effective measures to prevent overloading at Budhal Kotranka. The locals have appealed to the top traffic authorities to look into the matter and direct the concerned  authorities to curb the menace of overloading as a little carelessness can prove disastrous.
