    RAJOURI, JANUARY 18:-– Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Om Prakash Bhagat, chaired a meeting here today to finalize the arrangements for the JKSSB examination for the post of Accounts Assistant Finance scheduled for January 28, 2024.

    The meeting focused on various crucial aspects to ensure a seamless and fair examination process.

    The examination will take place at 22 examination centres and 10352 candidates are appearing in the examination. To maintain the integrity of the examination and provide a conducive environment for the candidates, several measures have been put in place.

    The meeting emphasized the deployment of an adequate number of Superintendents, Deputy Superintendents and supervisory staff to oversee the examination. This step is crucial in upholding transparency and fairness throughout the examination process. Additionally, a strict invigilator-to-student ratio has been established to ensure close monitoring during the examination.

    Magistrates will be appointed at all examination centers to guarantee a peaceful and orderly conduct of the examination. A comprehensive security plan has been devised to safeguard the examination venues, ensuring the safety of both the candidates and examination personnel.

    In an effort to prevent any unfair means during the examination, it was decided that mobile phones and other electronic devices would be strictly prohibited within the examination centers.

    Deputy Commissioner expressed his commitment to ensuring a smooth and fair conduct of the JKSSB examination on January 28, 2024. He urged all candidates to fully cooperate with the examination guidelines and adhere to the instructions provided by the examination authorities.

    RAJOURI, JANUARY 18:–As a part of the weekly Block Diwas initiative and to redress the public issues at their doorsteps, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Om Prakash Bhagat today chaired a public outreach camp at Sagote panchayat in Dhangri Block

    During the event, a wide range of concerns was raised by the local residents, including road repairs, staffing and upgrading of government institutions, addressing the problem of water shortage, augmentation of healthcare infrastructure and the construction of motorable bridges.

    Several specific issues were highlighted, such as the establishment of sub centre at Sewa Jagir, a motorable bridge at Sewa Jagir, speedy execution of JJM schemes, construction of a motorable bridge at Peo Manayala, renovation of Bal to Peo Manayala Road, sanctioning of a Degree college for Dhangri Block, construction of road from Argi to Tali and the initiation of work on the water supply scheme at panchayat Kalal Kass-B among others.

    The event also provided an opportunity to the government functionaries to inform the public about the schemes and programs being implemented by their respective departments. Attendees were encouraged to take advantage of these initiatives for their own betterment.

    The Deputy Commissioner assured the public that all their concerns had been meticulously documented and that each genuine issue would be addressed with the intervention of the respective departments in a phased and time-bound manner.

    In a spirit of collaboration, the Deputy Commissioner Om Prakash Bhagat also acknowledged the invaluable contribution of all stakeholders who have played a vital role in achieving the objectives of government initiatives.     Regarding the augmentation of water supply, the Deputy Commissioner Om Prakash Bhagat, informed the public that a total of 17 schemes have been initiated in Dhangri Block under JJM and work on all of these schemes has already commenced.

    Addressing the public demand for the opening of a bank branch at Sagote, Deputy Commissioner Rajouriassured the attendees that he would take up the matter with the concerned authorities.

    RAJOURI JANUARY 10:–Jammu & Kashmir Police, in its drive against absconders, nabbed another absconder in Rajouri , who was wanted in a case but was evading his arrest since 2015.

    Absconder has been identified as Sanjay Kumar son of Kanshi Ram resident of Sanjiote.

    Police team of PS Rajouri led by SHO Rajouri raided at different suspected locations and in one such raid arrested the accused absconder from Sangraampur Argi area of Rajouri.

    The accused was evading his arrest since long in case FIR No.179/2015 of PS Rajouri and a general warrant was issued against him by the Hon’ble Court. After apprehension, the arrested accused person was further produced before the Hon’ble Court of Law.
