Accusing the government officers of being rude towards the plight of gullible students, Shazad said the they should explain the delay in releasing the scholarship amount to students.

Shazad also informed that in the past academic sessions, State Pahari Advisory Board had issued annual scholarship to the students as per their fee structure but in this session they are issuing only Rs-3000 per student with an excuse that funds are not available. Land Mafia has become more powerful than Poonch district administration * Revenue authorities, Police Personals harassing legal owner

    POONCH TODAY NEWS

POONCH: The sorry state of affairs of district administration Poonch has reached to an alarming level and it shows that land Mafia which is active in Poonch district and is fully supported by Revenue authorities and few Police personals, is harassing innocent civilians. Pushkar Raj S/o late Tara Chand R/o W.No 1, Poonch city is running from pillar to post to get his land demarcated for taking action against illegal encroachers. The said applicant has approached successive Deputy commissioners and Sr. Suptd’s. of Police many times and despite directions form DC’s and SSP’s to successive SHO’s and Tehsildar’s, no demarcation has been done in favour of the applicant who was looking visible upset while taking to “POONCH TODAY”. Earlier, DC Poonch vide No DCP/SQ/3003-04 Dated 29-01-2016 directed the Tehsildar haveli to submit detailed report of the Khasra No 2773 min situated in Mohalla Qazi Mohra, but no action has been completed yet by the office of Tehsildar. Similarly DC Office also issued the same directions on 05-02-2018 and SSP Poonch’s direction to SHO vide no 23/DPO Dated 18-02-2018 for necessary action. The applicant approached many times during the last eight years, but shockingly, Land Mafia is so active in Poonch district that no demarcation have been taken place yet. Revenue authorities with the help of Land mafia made an abortive attempt to grab the land of the applicant, which constrain the applicant to approach the court of Ld Sub Judge Poonch through the medium of civil suit, titled Pushkar Raj Vs Satte of J&K and others, in which the learned court after hearing both the parties in the said civil suit was kind enough to pass interim injunction order dated 22-11-2014, thereby restraining defendants, which include DC Poonch, AC Revenue Poonch, Tehsildar haveli Poonch and other revenue officials from interfering in the land of the applicant and further restrained them from allotting the said land of the applicant to any other person. Despite clear cut directions form district and high court, district administration and revenue authorities have not moved an inch and have failed to give much needed justice to the applicant Pushkar Raj. The applicant is seeking justice with a request to authorities not to harass him and is demanding demarcation of the said land from the revenue authorities. .
