
Rajouri 09 May: In order to discuss various issues regarding the land aquisition, relief, evacuation of state land, disposal of complaints etc, the District Development Commissioner Rajouri Mohammad Aijaz Asad today convened a meeting of the concerned officers here in the Conference hall of DDC office.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Cimmissioner Rajouri Sher Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner Sunderbani, Additional Deputy Commissioner Nowshera,Additional Deputy Commissioner Koteranka, Subdivisional Magistrate Thanamandi, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Mohammad Ashraf ,concerned tehsildars and others.
A threadbare discussion was held during the meeting on issues related to land aquisition, relief, evacuation of state land, disposal of complaints etc.

Regarding the Government Grievance cell the ADC Rajouri Sher Singh informed the meeting that there are two types of complaints, one which is received through online portal and the other through hardcopy. He further said that the districts are rated according to the number of complaints addressed.
The DDC asked the tehsildars to ensure whether the complaints received are geniune or not. The DDC directed the concerned officers to dispose of their pending complaints as early as possible and ensure that only genuine complaints are received.
While discussing the Eviction of state land the DDC directed the Tehsildars to make the eviction plan as early as possible and firstly target the agricultural land. He further directed the concerned officers to keep the revenue record of the encroached land ready with them.
Taking stock of road construction from Government Medical College Rajouri to BGSU it was informed that the revenue record of the state land is complete and the land has been handed over to the concerned department.
As far as the relief cases are concerned the DDC directed the ACR to provide the list of documents to be submitted along with the relief form so that any mistake in the form can be sorted out at a very first stage. He said that only those files which are duly completed should be accepted at the level of tehsildars so as to avoid any inconvenience at later stages of relief provision process.
Taking note of jamabandi, the chair was informed that a total of 214 jamabandis have been written and 134 are pending.
The DDC directed the tehsildars to get the work of jamabandi done and also ensure the proper division of labour among the staff for the smooth functioning of the department.
He directed the tehsildars to write 02 jamabandis per Nyabat per month.
He emphasized upon the officers to ensure accountability and transparency. He also asked for the better synergy between departments for better results and timely completion of the works.
