RAJOURI JAN 07:- In a significant step towards promoting road safety and combating drug abuse, ARTO Rajouri Pawan Kumar Sharma administered an oath to young license aspirants on Tuesday. The oath, taken at the vehicle trial ground, emphasized staying away from drugs and adhering to traffic rules.
Addressing the gathering, ARTO Sharma highlighted the importance of responsible behavior among the youth, who he termed as the nation’s future. He underscored the detrimental impact of drug addiction, stating, “Youth not only ruin their lives by indulging in drugs but also create challenges for their families.” He urged attendees to counsel peers involved in substance abuse to reform their ways.
The ARTO linked drug abuse to reckless driving, which often leads to road accidents.
