SRINAGAR OCT 27:-The Indian Army, in collaboration with Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti (BMVSS–Jaipur Foot), successfully organised a three-day Artificial Limb Fitment Camp at Trehgam from 25 to 27 October 2025.
The outreach initiative provided crucial support to differently-abled civilians and Ex-Servicemen, empowering them with improved mobility and independence. A total of 468 beneficiaries were assisted during the camp.
A wide range of mobility aids — including prosthetic limbs, calipers, wheelchairs, hearing aids, and walking sticks — were distributed after detailed medical assessment and on-the-spot preparation of custom fitments.
The humanitarian effort reflects the Indian Army’s core ethos of “We Care” and further strengthens its enduring bond with the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
