Srinagar, June 17: Jammu and kashmir rehabar -e-taleem teachers forum ( JKRETTF) has termed the government decision to resume the community classes for the school children in central administrative Jammu and Kashmir a welcome step.
According to a press statement issued here by the forum Chief spokes person, that the approval for resumption of community schools by the principal secretary education BK Singh is a welcome step and it will benefit the thousands of students of JKUT specially the students of remote and far flung areas who are deprived of the facility of internet and smart phones.
He said, that forum chairman Farooq Ahmed Tantray has thanked the principal Secretary education for issuing orders of resumption of community classes in JKUT.
Tantray said that the earlier different organisations specially the rehabar-e- taleem teachers forum( JKRETTF) had appealed to start the community classes and now issuing orders in its favour is a welcome step.He said that teachers are ready to give community classes inorder to compensate the loss done to education during this covid 19 pandemic.
Further adding, chairman said that JKRETTF is always ready to co-operate with the measures being taken by the government to fulfill the education losses in JKUT. He said that the students who have not the facility of smart phones and internet, they can benifit a lot from these community classes.
Tantray further appealed teaching community specially teachers appointed through RET scheme to follow the guidelines and start the community classes in their respective areas as per the government orders with the following of proper SOPs. He said that to give education to the children is our primary duty and we hope that we will fulfill the aspirations of the students and their parents simultaneously.
