Annual Urs of Hazrat Ahmed Sahib Abdaal Sarhindi (RA), held at Sari Batt Alamgari Bazar Srinagar

SRINAGAR FEB 11:-On the auspicious occasion of the 154th annual Urs Mubarak of Hazrat Ahmed Sahib Abdaal Sarhindi (RA), also known as Macham Sahib, held at Sari Batt Alamgari Bazar,JKNC Chief Spokesperson and MLA Zadibal, Tanvir Sadiq, emphasized the significance of Sufi shrines in Islamic civilization. He stated that these holy sites are not only witnesses to the rich Islamic heritage but also serve as sanctuaries where devotees find peace of mind and have their prayers accepted by Allah.

The event witnessed a large gathering of devotees from across the valley, who participated in the annual Urs with great religious fervor. During the ceremony, Tanvir Sadiq was honored with a Dastarbani, symbolizing respect and recognition. He was accompanied by local party functionaries, including block presidents.

Tanvir Sadiq reiterated that the Omar Abdullah-led government is committed to fulfilling all promises outlined in the party’s manifesto.
