SRINAGAR AUGUST 07:-The Ambedkar Samaj Party today convened an important meeting at its headquarters in Srinagar, attended by Mr. Qazi Tariq Habib and Mr. Mehraj Afaq, both State Vice Presidents, along with State General Secretary Mr. Muhammad Yaqoob Dunoo. Following the meeting, party leaders addressed a press conference to raise serious concerns affecting the general public.

Speaking to the media, Vice President Qazi Tariq Habib emphasized that the party stands firm on its core slogan, “Mazloom Hamara Hai”, meaning “We are the voice of the oppressed.” He said the Ambedkar Samaj Party is committed to bringing attention to issues impacting marginalized communities across Jammu and Kashmir.

One of the primary concerns raised during the meeting was the increasing reports of rotten meat being supplied across the Kashmir Valley. The leaders alleged that certain suppliers are distributing substandard and unhealthy meat, posing a serious threat to public health.

“We urge the concerned departments to set up strict checkpoints and take immediate action to identify and arrest those involved in the supply of rotten meat,” said Mr. Qazi Habib. He called for cooperation between local residents and government agencies to curb this malpractice and ensure food safety for all.

The party further appealed to the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor’s administration and relevant officials to halt the supply of such meat in the valley with immediate effect. “This issue reflects gross negligence by some officers. We request the authorities to act promptly,” said Qazi Tariq.

Reaffirming the party’s commitment to the oppressed and voiceless, the leaders encouraged people to support their movement and join the fight against exploitation and negligence. “Ambedkar Samaj Party will continue to be the voice of the people and will raise every issue that affects the common man,” the leaders concluded.
