DDC Rajouri M Aijaz Asad ( IAS) has added one more comfort to the lives of the denizens of Rajouri by doing away with the ever troubling water scarcity .

Water scarcity had been a parreneal problem in Rajouri, having spanned over a period of half a century. The oldest water supply scheme initially meant for small population of Rajouri remained unimproved over that long a time, struggling to cater to a huge number of People having migrated expanding the city to its present extents. People suffered for weeks and months without water.

M Aejaz Asad’s intervention worked wonders Within a record time arrangements were made to arrange one lac fifty thousand gallons of additional water per day to overcome the trouble.

This is , indeed a wonder. Soon the extensions to the city are likely to have their own water supply systems.

The department of Public Health Engineering also deserves kudos for having turned the dream of Dr Aejaz Asad into reality.
