RAJOURI SEPTEMBER 18:–Ahead of public address by the former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, some miscreants/unknown persons allegedly had removed the National Flag atop the building of Dak Bunglow at Kotranka on the intervening night of September 17 & 18.
In this connection and on the written application forwarded by the Naib Tehsildar, Kotranka the police have registered a case under section 2(a) of the Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act 1971 against unidentified persons and started the investigation.
Meanwhile, Farooq Inqalabi, district vice president PDP (also sarpanch of Kewal Panchayat) has strongly condemned the removal of the national Flag and said: “It was a handiwork of some mischievous elements who wanted to damage the name of the PDP”.
“We (PDP) want strict action in this matter against the culprits and will fully cooperate with the investigating agency” Farooq added.
During her five day tour to Pir Panjal region (Rajouri-Poonch districts), former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti today addressed a large gathering including party workers/activists at Dak Bunglow at Kotranka.
The Country was being ruined by the BJP’s policies to divide it on religion basis. Dignity of the girls is being tarnished here in the country without any action against the culprits, but these people (BJP) are very concerned about the rights of the women in Afagnistan” said Mehbooba Mufti.
She added; “The state of J&K had been developed by Mufti Mohammad Sayeed but the BJP has deceived the people of the State and pushed them to slavery which the people would never accept”.
She said her party will guides every section of the State & will fight till the identity of the State was not restored.
Mehbooba Mufti, former Chief Minister further said: “I will not take part in the elections until Article 370 was reinstated”.
BJP has completely failed to curb unemployment, inflation, and corruption in the country. Unemployed youths of J&K are struggling for employment while the BJP is busy in the termination of Aganwadi workers and other employees who were already engaged.
Other senior leaders present and addressed include Master Tassadiq Hussain ,Tazeem Dar, Ehsan Mirza, Shokat Ali, and made aware Mehbooba Mufti about the problems of the area.
