Absconder Wanted in Multiple Cases Arrested by PS Mandi and Produced Before Court

POONCH DECM, 05:-Police Station Mandi, under District Police Poonch, successfully apprehended and produced before the court .The absconder wanted in multiple criminal cases, following his detention at Kochi Airport, Kerala.

The accused, Farooq Abdullah S/O Abdul Rahim R/O Sawjian, Mandi, was wanted in FIR No. 94/2018 and FIR No. 99/2020, for which the Hon’ble Court had issued two General Warrants of Arrest under Section 299 CrPC. The individual had been absconding for a prolonged period.

Based on a Look Out Circular (LOC) issued by District Police Office Poonch, the accused was intercepted and detained at Kochi Airport. After receiving the information, Police Station Mandi constituted a special team, which was deputed to Kerala to take custody of the accused.

The team successfully brought the accused back to Poonch, where he was produced before the Hon’ble CJM Court Poonch.
