RAJOURI MAR 07:– In a decisive enforcement drive conducted at Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah (BGSB) University in Rajouri, the Assistant Regional Transport Office (ARTO) team cracked down on violators, leading to the seizure of six vehicles. The operation was led by Inspector Rahul Kumar and aimed at ensuring compliance with traffic regulations and vehicle documentation requirements.
According to officials, the enforcement drive was carried out following reports of unregulated vehicle movement and alleged violations of transport norms within the university premises and surrounding areas. The seized vehicles were found to be operating without proper documentation or in violation of traffic laws.
Inspector Rahul stated that the drive was part of a broader initiative to enhance road safety and ensure that all vehicles adhere to legal norms. “Our objective is to enforce regulations strictly and prevent any unlawful activities related to vehicle operations. We urge all vehicle owners to comply with the necessary documentation and traffic rules to avoid legal action,” he said.
The crackdown serves as a stern warning to violators, with authorities emphasizing that similar enforcement actions will continue in the future. Officials have urged students, staff, and the general public to adhere to motor vehicle regulations to prevent legal consequences.
The ARTO Rajouri team has been actively conducting such enforcement drives across the district to curb illegal vehicular operations. These initiatives align with the administration’s efforts to maintain road discipline and promote safer commuting practices.
