Rajouri June 12 :–Continuing its efforts against drug peddling, today Rajouri Police arrested two peddlers and recovered heroin.
Today on June 12, 2021, a police party of PP City while on naka checking duty near Tandwal, apprehended two persons who were attempting to evade the police party in a suspicious manner. They were identified as Mukhtar Ahmed, S/O Gulzar Hussain, R/O Lam Pukharni and Mohammad Kabir Anjum, S/O Mohammad Ahmed, R/O Mooria Manjakote. On checking, around 800 gm (0.8 kg) of Heroin like substance was recovered from their possession.
In relation to this, FIR no. 378/2021 u/s 8(a)/21/22 of the NDPS Act has been registered in police station Rajouri, accused arrested and investigation initiated.
