Covid-hit transporters, shopkeepers demand relief package from Govt

Mandi,May 31:– Suffering heavy financial losses due to Covid-19 pandemic, local transporters and shopkeepers have demanded a relief package from the government.The representatives of these groups highlighted their plight and pushed the demand for a financial relief package from the government.

One of the shopkeeper said that medium small micro enterprises traders are the worst affected due to the pandemic. All of them are facing financial losses.The government must provide financial support to them in order to enable them to sustain,” he said.

Representatives of transporters also expressed their plight and said that,“The government must provide a financial support for transporters.
