Waive off water and electricity bills of people: Raqeeq Ah. Khan ;Vaccinate children before 3rd wave of COVID19 in J&K, improve health infrastructure

Mendhar, May 20:–Apni Party Vice President J&K Youth Wing, Raqeeq Ahmed Khan today urged Govt. to waive off electricity, water bills of the people keeping in view COVID pandemic situation.

In his statement, Raqeeq said that the business establishments have been closed and private sector employees have become hand to mouth. In these circumstances, he said, the Govt. should waive off the bills of electricity and water and not charge them for the usage as a special concession to them in the present pandemic situation.

He said that the transporters should be given special packages and the businessmen should be given relaxation in tax payments.

Expressing concern over the crumbling health sector and inadequate infrastructure, he appealed to the Govt. to upgrade their health infrastructure to meet the challenge of third wave.

“We should prepare ourselves for the third way and vaccinate children in J&K. We should overcome the shortcomings in the health sector and improve the system by providing the best infrastructure,” he said.

He said that the main focus of the Govt. should be to save lives of the people of J&K from the COVID which has taken a dangerous turn with new variants.
