Rajouri May 11:–Today on May 11, 2021, 208 persons have reported COVID positive in District Rajouri. *As COVID positive cases continue to rise, all members of the public are advised to avoid unnecessary travel, visit only local/ nearby shops for essentials/ medicines, use masks and sanitisers and avoid crowds. *
Strict lockdown measures are in force in District Rajouri since Saturday, i.e. May 08, 2021.
From May 8 -10, 2021, thirty-eight (38) FIRs have been registered against violators of COVID protocols, forty-four (44) persons arrested and one hundred and forty-one (141) persons fined. Furthermore, twenty-one (21) vehicles have been seized while seventeen (17) commercial establishments have been sealed as per procedure under law.
All members of the public are requested to adhere to COVID protocols and containment measures which are in place to prevent the further spread of COVID infection.
